Retentioner

A Retentioner is a post-conditioner retention chamber that holds the steam-treated feed mash at elevated temperature and moisture for an extended period before it enters the pellet mill. Where a standard conditioner provides 30–90 seconds of heat exposure, a retentioner extends this to several minutes — giving starches more time to fully gelatinize, proteins more time to denature, and heat more time to penetrate every particle uniformly.

Product Applications

  • Aqua Feed & Shrimp Feed Plants
  • Pet Food Manufacturing
  • Medicated & Export-Grade Feed
  • High-Starch Specialty Formulations
  • Poultry Feed requiring elevated hygienization
  • Features & Benefits
  • Reduced Die & Roller WearA fully conditioned and retained mash offers significantly less resistance at the die face. The pellet mill operates under lower pressure, producing less heat, less wear, and longer die and roller life — lowering your cost per tonne of output.
  • Improved Feed DigestibilityGelatinized starch is far more digestible than raw starch. Animals absorb more nutrition from each kilogram of feed — improving feed conversion ratios and reducing the quantity of feed required to achieve target growth.
